Pork Adobo Recipe

Pork Adobo

Tested, tasted by CarlosMiguel

Ingredients:
2 pounds pork, cut into 2-inch cubes
¼ pound pork liver, cut into 2-inch cubes
1 head garlic, crushed
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons peppercorns
1 tablespoon sugar
vegetable oil

Directions:
In a deep bowl, combine all ingredients except sugar and oil and marinate overnight
Transfer meat including marinade in a pot and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes
Cover pot and continue cooking until meat is fork tender
When meat is tender, heat oil In a separate non-stick pan
Using a slotted spoon, transfer meat, garlic and peppercorns into the non-stick pan and cook over
medium heat
Stir occasionally and cook until meat is medium brown
Transfer everything except vegetable oil back into the sauce and add sugar
Cook for another 1 minute
Serve with hot steamed rice
