The famous Hidden Valley Springs is located in a secluded part of Alaminos town of Laguna. It is a nature lovers’ paradise waiting to be explored with its luscious greens, waterfalls and natural beauty. Located between Mount Makiling and Mount Banahaw, this sunken resort is about 1000 feet below the sea level. The main attractions of this place are the waterfalls, natural springs and pools. The warm swimming pools are naturally heated by volcanic rocks while there are cold pools with water constantly flowing from the mountaintop.
For visitors wanting to stay overnight, the resort offers cottages with veranda overlooking the natural gardens. They offer welcome drinks, buffet lunch, dinner, breakfast and merienda. They even have a band of folk singers that serenade guests on their tables. There’s a bar/cafe and a souvenir shop. The amenities include the function rooms, picnic groves, chapel, gazebos, darts, volleyball and more.
The trip from Manila to Hidden Valley is about one hour and a half. You may take the South Superhighway to exit 50 (Batangas/Lucena), then head towards Laguna City/Alaminos.

I’m adding a note to respond to an email asking for more details. Last March my brother and I dropped by to check out the daytrip rate which includes welcome drinks, buffet lunch, pm snack and use of resort facilities, it’s P1800 per head.
The single occupancy is P6770+ and the double occupancy at P9800+. Better check out their website at http://www.hiddenvalleysprings.com.ph for the latest rates.
I haven’t been there pero siguro next time na umuwi ako baka magkaroon ng chance.
Hi, courteous posts there
hold responsible’s for the gripping word
pwedeng tagalog
michael- mas mahirap yata yung tagalog lalo na kung isusulat mo about nature. pwede sa joke na lang?
The service quality doesn’t come close to the expensive rates they have. It may be a nice place, but the owner should employ people at par with tourism level of friendliness and professionalism…considering it is a nice tourist spot, thank GOD for that! From the booking office to the main resort, almost everyone needs to be retrained!
which is better to go first to
hidden valley?
or villa escudero?
thanks
Jakk – These two places offer different experiences and adventures so i wouldn’t really say that going to one place first would be an advantage if you really want to experience both. Villa Escudero is more about history and lunch at the waterfalls. Hidden valley is about nature trip – and it is more expensive specially if you plan to stay overnight. Assuming you’re planning to just day trip to both places, it’s still going to take a lot of time for each.
are you planning this trip on successive days? If i were you, maybe i’d go to Hidden Valley first because it’s more exhausting then i’d head up to Villa Escudero the next day. But if you’re on a budget, you can stay at Villa E for a cheaper overnight stay then head up to Hidden Valley the next day.
I think your decision depends really more on budget and expectations. Rule out the proximity to Manila because it’s almost the same distance. It’s just that HV is in the outskirts and VE is on the main road.
