Laffline Comedy Bar

If you decide to come up the stage of a comedy bar like Laffline, you really need to have all the courage to stand the jokes and humiliation the gay hosts (believe it, some are real women) will hurl at you. They give you these interviews which could be really nasty but at the same time is also funny, well specially if you are not the one standing on that stage. They can get naughty while they trade wits and somehow be able to touch the guests’ private parts while making fun at it, yes i mean that ‘it’. You need to see their shows for yourself. The audience is a mix of young and old with some balikbayans like me who, i admit, miss these kinds of pinoy dirty jokes. 
Last May, i saw Vice ganda, KitKat and others. Vice ganda is witty but tends to be a little boring after watching her trade barbs for more than 15 or so minutes. Kitkat is a petite commedian who gets animated with her antics which makes her more entertaining. She packs a lot of energy in that small frame with a heavy top. Okay, i know my description may be a little bit off but mine is just a tease when you see these kinds of shows.

Can you tell who are the gay host comedians? and who among them is the best?
cool nights! 
oh that was really tough. i don’t remember all their names. but i remember there is this short guy who had a skit with 2 other actors. he played a character of a ‘martian’ sort of and he makes this strange noises and scary sometimes funny looks. they used his biggest asset – his ugly looks, i mean they overplayed the word ‘ugly’. in fairness i thought he was the most talented. i’m basing my judgment on that one night performance.
